Our Story
Soule’ Gibson, founder and president of Gibson Design Group, began his career in commercial construction. After seven years of hands-on experience, he returned to Michigan State University to complete a degree in Building Construction Management.
Even before graduation, Soule’ was recruited by Barton Malow, one of Michigan’s most respected construction firms, and quickly rose to manage a $13 million school renovation project. While many would have stopped there, Soule’ pursued his true passion, launching his own company dedicated to reimagining residential spaces with precision and artistry.
What We Do
At Gibson Design Group, Inc., we specialize in total home renovations for both interior and exterior projects. Our expertise includes:

Our craftsmanship has earned national recognition, with two of our custom wine cellars featured in Better Homes & Gardens. Whether it is a cellar for 4,500 bottles or a 30,000-bottle collection complete with a tasting room, no project is too ambitious.

What started as one builder’s vision has grown into a dedicated team of six professionals, bringing together nearly 75 years of combined hands-on experience. We take pride in being a people-focused organization that listens carefully, collaborates fully, and executes flawlessly.
From concept to completion, our designers and builders work closely with each client to:
